The Clinic
The White Swan Playroom
At 9:30 this morning, Grace headed off to the Holt office in the White Swan to have our paperwork checked for completeness. Meanwhile, Mark and Tamlyn went to the White Swan playroom to have a bit of playtime. Mark played with the toys as Tamlyn watched.

The meeting lasted one and a half hours. Directly afterwards we hopped across the street to have Tamlyn's picture taken. This picture would be used for her American Visa.

Finally, after lunch, we headed off as a group to the Medical clinic. The clinic, which was located a few blocks from the hotel, is used by the American Consulate to verify that the child is in reasonably good health and that it is safe for her to travel to America. After a brief wait, we took turns going to different stations within the clinic (measurements, general exam, E.N.T.). According to the doctors, Tamlyn was in perfect health and very smart. I'm not sure how they knew she was smart, but they're doctors and must know. It took about 5 minutes to complete the examination at each station, so soon we were on our way back to the hotel and to more shopping.
